The North Texas Summer & Supper Council ensures that every child has access to healthy meals in summer, addressing a vital need for hard-working families that rely on the federal nutrition programs during the school year. This program helps local meal providers raise awareness, increase meal sites and more effectively address child hunger in our community.

Results & Impact

In summer of 2017, the program:

• Served free meals to over 49,000 North Texas children
• Served meals at more than 660 locations
• Invested more than $20,000 to in marketing efforts to inform the public about the program and increase attendance.
