Homelessness Prevention
Our housing and homelessness initiatives provide a continuum of services to not only increase and maintain affordable housing options but also prevent evictions, build financial stability and break the cycle of homelessness.

Our homelessness prevention programs include:
- Dallas Frequent Users Systems Engagement (FUSE) Collaborative: provides funding for caseworkers who directly engage people experiencing chronic homelessness, place them in supportive housing and connect them to a variety of support services
- Dallas Rental Assistance Collaborative: encourages housing stability by offering rental and utility assistance to families who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic
- Targeted Eviction Prevention Program: provides comprehensive case management to families at risk of eviction to ensure they can stay in their homes and their children can stay in school to families at risk of eviction to ensure they can stay in their homes and their children can stay in school
