Narrative Change for Affordable Housing

Through the Narrative Change Project, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas seeks to change the public narrative around affordable housing in North Texas. Our goal is to increase public support of affordable and subsidized housing developments across our region.

The Narrative Change Project is a key element of our housing and homelessness initiatives. By developing, testing and sharing a long-term narrative framework about affordable housing, we will equip housing advocates with communication tools to build greater public and political will in support of housing reform. Ultimately, our goal is to increase our region’s supply of affordable housing to prevent homelessness, improve housing stability and support access to education, income and health for all North Texans.
