Join us on March 7 for United Way Reading Day presented by Atmos Energy, a beloved annual tradition that creates unforgettable memories for students and volunteers alike!

March 7, 2025

Reading Day presented Atmos Energy is a unique opportunity to inspire thousands of children right here in our community with a love of reading, which supports early literacy and a lifetime of success.

This year’s Reading Day will celebrate 100 Years of Reading, in recognition of United Way’s Centennial anniversary. During this exciting and impactful event, volunteers will read to thousands of elementary students across North Texas classrooms and participate in our online book drives to help build each child’s personal library.

Part of United Way’s Centennial Celebration

This year’s Reading Day is part of our Centennial Volunteer Series presented by Texas Instruments. This year-long community-wide celebration marks our first century of impact and includes exciting new opportunities to advance our Aspire United 2030 goals, which include improving early literacy.

Our Centennial Anniversary is a once-in-a-century opportunity to celebrate with the community our first century of service to North Texas—and to walk hand-in-hand with supporters like you to achieve our Aspire United 2030 community impact goals so all North Texans have opportunities to thrive
