Mr. Cooper Group is a committed corporate partner with a particular focus on initiatives that support our local students. For example, the mortgage company is cosponsor of our North Texas Supper & Summer Council, which works to increase the number of low- and moderate-income students who receive free summer meals.

At Mr. Cooper Group, giving back to the community is an important part of the corporate culture, and both leadership and employees are always looking for ways to get more involved. The company’s executives and other team members are some of our most frequent volunteers, with employees rolling up their sleeves to benefit North Texas students at events throughout the year.

Partnership Spotlight: A Turnkey Employee Volunteer Program

To advance its philanthropic goal of improving education in North Texas, Mr. Cooper Group invests significant time each year in volunteer events that benefit local students and teachers. The company sought to build a streamlined volunteer program, so they partnered with United Way to create a sponsored volunteer series that helps fund activations throughout the year, such as STEM Fest, Stock the School and Jungle Bells. The series is also a key component of Mr. Cooper Group’s employee engagement goals, providing fun and accessible opportunities for team members to volunteer their time and talents to directly benefit our community.
