A powerful gathering with the founders, funders and fellows building North Texas’ social impact future
The Showcase, held June 18 at The Astoria in Irving, was a one-of-a-kind curated experience celebrating 12 years of entrepreneurial problem-solving across our region—and a first look at what’s coming next.
Attendees moved through experiential zones, engaged with live demonstrations, sparked conversations with innovative founders, and connected directly with the people and programs reshaping how North Texas tackles its toughest challenges.
This was the first year of what we intend to make an annual gathering of the full United Way of Metropolitan Dallas social innovation network: Accelerator and Incubator alumni, current Social Innovation fellows and Innovation Studio partners, nonprofit leaders, funders, and the community, all in one room.
Immersive Zones
Attendees explored themed spaces organized around education, financial stability, healthcare and community-driven solutions. Experiences included VR simulations, a live barber training school, a pop–up urban farmers market, writing workshops, hands-on demos and interactive activations designed to put individuals directly inside the work.
The Pollinator Speakeasy
Change-makers enjoyed real connection in our intimate networking hub—where civic leaders, funders and founders met as co-creators. This exclusive experience featured live music, an adaptogenic Pollinator cocktail and a taste of what happens when ideas turn to action.
