Scott serves as regional head of the Southwest Region for Private Wealth Management (PWM) within Asset & Wealth Management. He initially joined Goldman Sachs in 1999 as an associate in PWM and rejoined the firm as a managing director in 2022.
 
Prior to rejoining the firm, Scott was the State of Oklahoma’s 11th Secretary of Commerce and Workforce Development, where he oversaw 30 agencies focused on economic, community and workforce developments for the state. He was also previously a managing member of 313 Holdings LLC, a family office that he founded in 2016. Before that, Scott served as chief financial officer (CFO) and chief investment officer for Arcadia Capital, as well as CFO of American Energy Partners, LP and was a partner at the private equity firm Hall Capital Partners.
 
Scott earned a BA in General Business Administration and Pre-Law from the Honors College at Michigan State University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas. He is also a CFA charterholder.
