Reading Day presented by Atmos Energy

Reading Day is one of our biggest, most impactful events of the year, where volunteers encourage early literacy by distributing free books and reading to thousands of preschool and elementary-aged scholars on campuses across North Texas. Thriving Neighborhoods

(Volunteer Event) – This special initiative will include several indoor and outdoor events at school campuses, community spaces and parks across North Texas, with approximately 1,000 attendees participating in clean-up, creation and building projects. Summer Meals Kickoff

(Volunteer Event) – Through the North Texas Summer & Supper Council, United Way works to ensure that every child has access to healthy meals in summer.
