At United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, we know that health is one of the building blocks of opportunity, and we believe all Texans should have access to affordable, quality health care coverage. This week is a critical opportunity to raise our voices about the need for the state to develop a coverage solution for uninsured Texans.
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is holding a public hearing at UT Southwestern tomorrow, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on a 1115 Medicaid Transformation Waiver extension. It will allow in-person or virtual testimony. Any individual (or organization) can participate, and it is a great opportunity to tell state leadership that you support health care coverage for our uninsured neighbors.
Here’s how to get involved:
Attend the HHSC hearing at UT Southwestern and voice support for health care coverage for ALL Texans. Register for the hearing here.
