Building on the momentum of past years, our committee continues to focus on recruiting, engaging, connecting and retaining our membership to collaborate and collectively produce visible impact in our North Texas community. This year we plan to:

  • Expand our reach through new opportunities and virtual/digital platforms
  • Create initiatives to align and support United Way Aspire United 2030 Goals
  • Activate steering committee alumni as resources to mentor, advise and advocate

Additionally, we will continue to focus on raising awareness and funds for the Women of Tocqueville Fund for Women and Children to make a lasting change for women and children in need. The steering committee is busy working on volunteer and community impact events, social and networking opportunities, as well as professional and educational sessions to be scheduled and announced throughout the year as dates are solidified.

This month we are pleased to present a Professional Development Session – Removing “Should” from your Vocabulary: The Game Changer for Business – featuring Pamela Harless, Collective Confidence, and hosted by Dee Brown, EY-Parthenon.  Please join us for this empowering and interactive session on Monday, September 21 from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Register here.

On behalf of the entire Women of Tocqueville Steering Committee, we look forward to another wonderful year as we create a stronger North Texas community guided by Generosity, Commitment and Courageous Kindness.

Stay safe, stay healthy and stay hopeful!
