Message from Kristy Faus, Women of Tocqueville Chair, February 2018

Hello Women of Tocqueville!

Can you believe we are already one month into 2018? The Women of Tocqueville Committee has been hard at work planning a robust spring calendar full of opportunities to gather and give back to the community.

I’m most excited about our upcoming volunteer opportunities! Dr. Seuss Reading Day is March 2 and our Women of Tocqueville volunteers will be returning to Sudie Williams Elementary to lend our voices and read the tongue twisters of Dr. Seuss to the students. Spending a morning with these kiddos will brighten your week and bring back your own childhood memories of enjoying “The Cat in the Hat.”

Watch for an upcoming email with details about another volunteer opportunity that is always a favorite. We will return to Irma Rangel school to spend an afternoon mentoring the young women as they prepare for college and job interviews.

Make sure you check out the Women of Tocqueville calendar here for details about all our upcoming events and opportunities. If you have questions about Women of Tocqueville or ways to get involved, please feel free to contact me or Lindsay Fein at United Way at

I look forward to seeing you very soon.
