Ashley Douglas
Senior Director, Southern Dallas Thrives
As a proud Dallas native, Ashley Douglas brings a comprehensive perspective in working as a relationship maven and consensus builder. Her professional experiences in the philanthropic, education, and private sectors have aided in her continuous growth as a leader. Upon transitioning into United Way, Ashley served as the Director of Community Health & Wellness, where she managed all programs and grant portfolios for adult health initiatives ranging from nutrition education to mental and behavioral health efforts. She currently oversees our Southern Dallas Thrives work, in partnership with PepsiCo and Frito-Lay North America. This initiative takes an innovative macro-level approach to the cross-functionality of corporate and philanthropic spaces in solving complex societal issues. Outside of work, Ashley thoroughly enjoys cultural experiences through world travel. She also has a passion for empowering youth to continuously establish and achieve their levels of success, and is known as a “rockstar” mentor. Ashley holds Masters degrees in both Social Work and Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.
