Understanding options after high school graduation can be overwhelming. So Future Focus provides soon-to-be Dallas ISD graduates with college and career exploration experiences that help them identify their next steps. The Future Focus College and Career Expo offers 500 students a day of soft-skills building sessions facilitated by corporate volunteers. And Future Focus Camp hosts 60 students over two weeks each June for in-depth career exploration and corporate site visits.

Results & Impact

• Since 2014, 2,000 students have participated in the Future Focus College and Career Expo and 300 volunteers facilitated workshops and led discussions.

• Since 2016, 110 select students have participated in Future Focus Camp. 93% identified a career to pursue as a result.

• After participating in mock interviews, 95% of Future Focus camp students felt comfortable interviewing for a job.
