Help make DFW the Most Generous Community in America on #GivingTuesday

Why should you give to #GiveBigDFW?

#GivingTuesday has inspired giving around the world, inspiring donations, volunteerism, and activities that highlight the good and encourage people to engage with and support their communities. This global day of giving on November 27, 2018 is the official beginning of the charitable season. Celebrated on the Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is an opportunity for local organizations to raise funds and awareness for our community. That’s where you come in.

On #GivingTuesday, we’re rallying the whole Dallas Fort Worth region together for #GiveBigDFW to show the nation (and world!) how much we care about our community.

Want to get involved?

Here are a few ways you can take action on #GivingTuesday

When you give to United Way, your dollars do more. Instead of addressing just one issue like homelessness, we treat 360 degrees of need in the areas of education, income and health—the essentials components of a thriving community.

2017 Impact

Last year, the greater Dallas area mobilized to raise funds and encourage volunteerism in our community. More than 200 nonprofit organizations helped us raise over $22 million dollars and log more than 485,000 hours of service by volunteers. Let’s keep the momentum going to earn DFW the title of Most Generous Community in America in 2018!
“We are committed to tell the story to the rest of the country in honor of #GivingTuesday. So we ask that you give big: give from your wallet, from your heart, with resources, with your actions. We want to encourage North Texans to do what they do best – help others in creative and meaningful ways.”
