Ethics and Compliance Hotline

The most basic commitment we make – to our donors, our partners, our volunteers and each other – is to always conduct ourselves in an ethical and honest manner. That’s why operating with integrity is one of our core values and we strive in every way to hit that mark every day.

United Way of Metropolitan Dallas has provided this website for you to report possible unethical behavior or policy violations securely and confidentially. The VERIFI™ hotline is a reporting mechanism that facilitates communicating possible illegal, unethical, or improper conduct when the normal channels of communication have proven ineffective or are impractical under the circumstances. The hotline is available to employees, volunteers, donors, service providers, vendors and community partners, who are unsure about where to go with their concerns or feel uncomfortable reporting through normal channels of communication. The hotline is designed to protect your confidentiality, and your anonymity, if requested. United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and the United Way Foundation of Metropolitan Dallas prohibit retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, reports a possible violation, or who participates in an investigation, even if sufficient evidence is not found to substantiate the concern.

Reporting is easy and safe.  To report an ethics or compliance concern, you may leave an anonymous report at www.verifihelpline.com.  Alternatively, if you would like to speak with a VERIFI representative, you may call 855-583-7434.  However you choose to leave your report, make sure that you provide either our organization code of 40129 or our name (make sure to specify United Way – Dallas).

Follow the on-screen instructions, or if reporting by phone, respond to the questions asked by the certified professional on the call.

You will be provided a Case ID and a 4-digit PIN.  Retain BOTH in a safe place. You will need them to follow-up, review, or amend your report.
